Never had any formal training,but I had an opportunity to work with a fashion house, in Delhi. We are based in Middle East gulf, right now, to be precise,in Doha Qatar.Our clients also includes people from the , the other GCC country's.We bring most of our ready to wear from Delhi,and Bangalore.Then there are, few local designer's work which I bring from my home town in South-India,God's owncountry,Kerala,Kottayam.

Though I was very fond of designing and in stitching of clothes, I found my interest has taken form of an obsession. My experience as Production Executive at Fashions Unlimited, Delhi has enhanced the confidence to work independently. And the idea of starting a Boutique is indeed a dream come true. With the advent of Information superhighway, the Boutique does not need a definite location… it's an address, where one can watch and order things as per their tastes and preferences. The Boutique will be introducing elegant ready-to-wear clothes for children, men and women. Besides, there are plans to link-up various sites that deals with arts and artifacts distinctively and hand made made bed linens, which is going to be major atttraction of my collection, and many more.

My "Idea" of Fashion

The word "Fashion" comes from the Latin Facere, meaning "to make". Fashion is most commonly associated with clothes,particulerly women's clothes. It may apply , however to anything- interior decoration ,architecture, social behavior automobile models, toys ,even Christmas tree."Fashion lies in the eyes of the beholder",this is such a big farce. Your personality is depicted in your fashion trends. What ever you are,How ever you are,Where ever you are,you obviously,pictureyourself,through your, approach and dressing,

The person in you is not something that you try and change with situation and people,no matter how much effort you put in, it always comes out with your personality traits. Yes, you tend to move and change with the current trends and fashion, but the basic "you" always remains the same.Books ,plays, motion pictures or well known people may create a new fashion.What ever is favoured at a given time by those who are regarded as up-to-date is FASHION.

Fashion changes from season to season and from year to year.It often return to the style that was many years before.People seems to have gone back to the old ages, as far as Indian fashion and trends are concerned. Every one wants all those, Ethinic....Traditional stuff. Let it be furniture, clothes or even trends.

History

Saree is an Indian national wear,though the sreelankan women also wear saree, the name 'sari' is always associated with India. South India-the Silicon valley of Saris.Indian people are identified mostly draped in saree. Although, south India is the "home of sari". An occasion is always marked with ,the Kanjeevaram sari, Pattolas,Thanchavoor silks,Pochanpalli silks, the age old traditional saris. Silk saris, are associated with wealth and prosperity. excellent draping properties and a natural resistance to creasing and wrinkling.Dyed and printed silk fabric's have a richness and variety seldom found in other textiles.
